Velvety green beans

The velvety green beans is an original way of cooking beans, both simple and tasty.

Entry into ideal, it also serves as a light meal.

Ingredients for 4 people:

  • 300 g green beans
  • 1 onion
  • 50 cl chicken stock
  • 15 cl fresh cream
  • 1 bunch chive
  • Salt and pepper

Recipe of velvety green beans:

At’fall, winter or spring, enjoy this soup with green beans, ideal as a starter or as a main dish for a light meal.

  • Start by removing stalks and wash the green beans
  • Peel and mince the’onion
  • Heat of’oil’olive and 1 knob of butter in a pan
  • Brown the’chopped onion for a few minutes
  • Add green beans and stir a few moments
  • Pour the chicken stock
  • Add chives but keep a few sprigs for decoration
  • Cover and cook on low heat for 25 minutes

Once cooked beans but still slightly crisp,

  • Mix everything with a mixer
  • Add sour cream
  • Salt and pepper

The velvety must have a certain consistency c’Therefore do not hesitate to adjust the amount of broth and sour cream order’the best result.

Serve immediately with chives for decoration.
