Pie with salted depinard shoots

Salty spinach pie is a classic for all lovers of the pastry, here is a wonderful recipe.

Ingredients for 4 people:

  • 80 g of shoots’spinach or mesclun
  • 20g salted butter
  • 2 slices of raw ham
  • 1 tsp. tablespoon cornstarch
  • 10 cl milk
  • 25 cl cream 3 whole eggs
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper

For the pastry:

  • 250 g flour
  • 125g salted butter
  • 1 yolk’egg
  • 5 cl’water at room temperature

For the pastry:

  • In a bowl (or a work plan), sift the flour, dig a well and put the butter cut into pieces of yellow’egg, the’water and salt.
  • Mix fingertips.
  • Let the dough rest 1 hour charge.

Preheat oven to 180 ° C (th. 6).

  • Place the dough in a pan, prick the bottom with a fork.
  • Cook the sprouts in a pan with salted butter for 1 minute. Book.
  • Cut the ham into thin strips and set aside.
  • In a ramekin, mix cornstarch and milk.

In a bowl,

  • Pour milk mixture / cornstarch and stir in the cream. Add eggs one by one. Salt and pepper.

At the bottom of the pie,

  • Place the sliced ​​ham, shoots and pour the mixture.
  • Bake 45 minutes.
