Tagine with three apples and five pieces

Here is a 100% vegetarian tagine for lovers of baked apples,’spice and vanilla. Served with vanilla ice cream c’is an excellent dessert.

Quick and easy to prepare, this is a dessert of tajine’fall and’Ideal winter.

Ingredients for 4 people:

  • 2 apples Braeburn
  • 2 apples Boskoop
  • 2 apples Elstar
  • 40g salted butter
  • 100 g of sugar cane
  • 1/2 tsp. Coffee five spices
  • 1 vanilla pod.

Recipe of the tagine with three apples and five spices

Peel the apples, cut them in half, scoop out and expand them into thick slices.

Cut the butter into cubes and spread them in the tagine.

Add the apples by mixing varieties.

Mix the sugar and the five spices, pour over apples.

Scrape the vanilla seeds and add them. Mix. Pour 20 ounces of water. Cover and cook over very low heat 1:30 checking the fluid level.

Serve hot or warm with a scoop of ice.
