Chicken casserole with cider


A tender and fragrant chicken and delicious dish to be enjoyed at the’autumn and winter, here is the chicken casserole warm cider.

Ingredients for 4 people:

  • 1 range chicken cut into 8 pieces
  • 500 g ofonions
  • 30 cl cider
  • 1 pinch of allspice
  • 2 c. tablespoons oil
  • 50g butter
  • 2 c. soup coriander chopped
  • Salt and pepper

Recipe for chicken casserole with cider

Peel and finely slice the onions.

Heat half the butter and a tablespoon of oil in a casserole.

Put the onions to cook over low heat, stirring for 10 minutes, so that they are transparent but not colored.

In a skillet, heat the remaining oil and butter, enter fire chicken keen on all sides until browned.

Put the chicken pieces in the pan, drained, wet with the cider, salt and pepper, add the allspice and mix.

Cover the casserole and cook for 30 minutes on low heat. Serve hot, sprinkled with cilantro, accompanied by couscous or basmati rice.
