Honey Pomelo roti


Roasted grapefruit honey is rich in vitamins dessert that can also end the meal on a high note of freshness and lightness.

This recipe can be served as a starter with fried prawns, for example.

Ingredients for 4 people:

2 pomelos

2 stalks thyme

2 c. in s. from honey

1 c. in s. olive oil.

Recipe roasted honey pomelos

  • Cut the grapefruit into two equal parts in the circumferential direction.
  • Place on the baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Sprinkle with thyme (pinching thyme sprigs between the thumb and index finger pulling the sheets to the surface of the fruit).
  • Sweeten each half of grapefruit half tablespoon of honey and decorate with a few drops of olive oil.

Broil oven about 8 minutes (watching for the fruits do not burn). Grapefruits out of the oven and let cool before serving.

Optionally accompany roasted grapefruit a fried prawns (or shrimp) outbreaks or fried.

Tip tasting


To facilitate the tasting of grapefruit, during preparation, pass between each half grapefruit segment the blade of a paring knife. These small bites will come off more easily.
