Here is a recipe full of fresh vegetables, healthy and easy to make, lettuce maki with crunchy vegetables.
Preparation: 20 min
Ingredients for 4 people:
- 8 beautiful leaves lettuce
- 300 g of cooked rice (ideally sushi rice *)
- 8 radishes
- 1 carrot
- 1 onion new
- 100 g of cheese
- 1 bunch chive
- 1 pinch of salt.
Ingredients to prepare sushi rice:
4 c. in s. rice vinegar, 2 tbsp. in s. sugar, salt
Recipe of lettuce with crunchy vegetables Makis
Wash and dry the lettuce leaves. Remove with a larger knife coast lettuce leaves and cut into two equal parts.
Wash radishes and carrots and cut into small sticks.
Top each lettuce leaf half-length a little cooked rice, a few sticks carrot and radish, a piece of onion wilts and again a little rice.
Achieve tight rolls and cut rolls obtained by sections 4 to 5 cm. Wrap each bite of chives to keep them closed.
Cut the onion bulb into small dice and set aside.
Make the sauce : In a bowl,
- pour the cream cheese,
- small diced onion and add the remaining finely chopped chives.
- Add salt and mix well.
Maki are ready to be enjoyed dipped in white cheese sauce and chives.
* Cook, perfume and pass the sushi rice: rinse 300g Japanese sushi rice in a sieve until the water runs clear. Drain well. Put rice in a saucepan with 30 cl of water. Cover and bring to a boil for 5 minutes of cooking. Reduce heat and simmer another 10 minutes. Turn off the heat, remove the lid and let stand 10 min. In another pan, pour 4 tablespoons of rice vinegar, 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 pinches of salt beautiful and bring to a boil. Pour the cooked rice in a bowl and pour the sweet vinegar on it. Mix well and let it all come back to room temperature before getting maki.
radish tops can be prepared by soup radish tops but also used raw (and chopped) to season a salad bringing a spicy note.
