Also known as the Didymosporium arbuticola Zeller, this disease affects arbutus
It is characterized by the presence of brown to reddish tasks margin on the sheets.

This fungus will result contaminate’all the foliage. This leads to leaf drop.
How to fight against this disease?
- Preventively : At the end of the’winter, spray with Bordeaux mixture 2 to 3 times, 15 days’interval.
- Curatively : Upon’appearance of the fungus, pick up the leaves that fall, burn them or throw them in a place that will not risk contaminating your plants.
Perform a basic mancozeb or myclobutanil spraying fungicides that are sold in garden centers.
