Also known as the Didymosporium arbuticola Zeller, this disease affects arbutus

It is characterized by the presence of brown to reddish tasks margin on the sheets.

Disease of’Arbutus:

This fungus will result contaminate’all the foliage. This leads to leaf drop.

How to fight against this disease?

  • Preventively : At the end of the’winter, spray with Bordeaux mixture 2 to 3 times, 15 days’interval.
  • Curatively : Upon’appearance of the fungus, pick up the leaves that fall, burn them or throw them in a place that will not risk contaminating your plants.
    Perform a basic mancozeb or myclobutanil spraying fungicides that are sold in garden centers.
