Saturday 6 and Sunday, October 7, 2012, management the Rayol, Var to attend a feast of high plants in color and full of exoticism. This "Territory and nature’spirit "which reign supreme Mediterranean plants, becomes time for a weekend Garden wonders of Gondwana. And for those who would not know Gondwana, this will be the opportunity to discover this great southern continent that gathered in the days of prehistory what is now called South America, Africa, India, Australia and New Zealand.
Thus, cacti and succulent during these two days will rub aquatic plants, palm trees, fruit, herbs, vegetables and of course Mediterranean shrubs and perennials. Many specialized nurserymen, gardeners and landscapers as renowned Gilles Clément and Marie-Claude Palm will attend and deliver at the event their tricks and tips to take good care of the plants they are atypical or not.
This edition also will feature wild and edible plants. Between those that are eaten, those that are used for various purposes, and all the "weeds" useful, but often overlooked, Domaine du Rayol offers visitors to help them identify but also to use them daily. Thus, everyone will walk away knowing for example picking wild arugula everywhere where it grows in the Mediterranean by wearing lips to check the chili or venture, like naturalists, in the heart of this nature and to shop picking up leaves or fruits that are available to everyone on an excursion.
Obviously, this event will be punctuated multiple animations: Conferences around the uses of plants, meetings with nurserymen and gardeners, workshops for adults and children basketry, lollipop factory from edible wild plants or even birdhouses, meetings-signatures at the Bookstore Gardeners, menu flavors "nature" prepared by the new Head Gardeners Coffee ...
